國道ＥＴＣ車道利用率平均每天約七成，年假期間，國道ＥＴＣ車道頻頻出現回堵狀況，國道高速公路局表示，國道七堵、古坑、白河、善化、田寮共五處收費站，在春節期間都增開一個小型車ＥＴＣ車道，為因應即將到來的元宵節和二二八假期，上述五個收費站的ＥＴＣ小型車車道，將繼續增開到三月四日。
